A combination of household waste, garden waste, and light construction waste. Tip fees vary depending on the proportion of recyclable vs non‑recyclable materials.
🟥 Heavy Waste
£280 – £900+
Includes rubble, soil, hardcore, bricks, tiles, and large mixed loads. Gypsum Close charges higher disposal fees for these materials due to weight and processing requirements.
How Tip Fees Affect Your Price
We use Gypsum Close Recycling Centre (Leicester) as our primary disposal site. Their fee structure influences your final quote. Typical factors include:
- Weight of waste — heavier loads cost more to dispose of.
- Type of waste — rubble, soil, plasterboard, and hardcore incur higher fees.
- Mixed waste loads — charged higher due to sorting requirements.
- Special items — mattresses, fridges, tyres, and electricals may incur surcharges.
- Multiple trips — large jobs requiring more than one van load increase disposal costs.
