Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, fair, and transparent policies designed to protect both our customers and our team.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Umoja Possee Logistics, including waste removal, removals, courier transport, gardening, and property clearance.

We aim to be fair, transparent, and reasonable with all cancellations and refunds. These policies ensure our team’s time, fuel, and scheduling are respected.

1. Cancellations by the Customer

⏳ 24‑Hour Cancellation Window

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your booking time, no cancellation fee applies.

⚠ Cancellations Within 24 Hours

Cancelling within 24 hours of the scheduled job may result in a cancellation fee of £20–£60 depending on:

  • Service type
  • Distance
  • Allocated team size

🚪 No‑Show or No Access

If our team arrives and cannot access the property or waste, a call‑out fee may apply.

2. Cancellations by Umoja Possee Logistics

🛑 When We May Cancel

We may cancel or reschedule if:

  • The environment is unsafe
  • Prohibited waste is present
  • Access is blocked or restricted
  • Severe weather affects operations
  • Vehicle breakdown or emergency

💬 Communication

We will always notify you as early as possible and offer the next available booking slot.

3. Refund Policy

Deposits are non‑refundable unless Umoja Possee Logistics cancels the job.

If you accidentally overpay, we will refund the difference within 3–5 working days.

If you believe a service was not completed as agreed, contact us within 48 hours. We will review the case and offer a fair resolution.

Refunds are not issued once waste has been collected and disposed of, as disposal fees are immediately incurred.

4. Changes to Bookings

🔄 Rescheduling

You may reschedule your booking free of charge if done more than 24 hours in advance.

⚠ Last‑Minute Changes

Changes within 24 hours may incur a small fee depending on team allocation and travel distance.
